Dig Insights Acquires Ebco Trends to deliver a seamless end-to-end innovation lifecycle

Dig Insights Acquires Ebco Trends to deliver a seamless end-to-end innovation lifecycle

Fresh on the heels of acquiring Ignite 360, technology-enabled consumer insights company Dig Insights has acquired Ebco Trends, a strategic trends and innovation agency.

For almost a decade, Ebco has been connecting the dots between insights, trends, and business strategy to help clients understand where their industries, categories, and consumers are headed. Now, the Ebco team is joining Dig Insights to help deliver a seamless innovation experience to our combined clients. Erin Mays, CEO and Co-Founder of Ebco, will be joining Dig Insights as EVP to build and lead their Trends & Innovation division.

Paul Gaudette, CEO and Co-Founder of Dig Insights, notes:

It’s been refreshing to meet Erin and her team, people who are experts in trends and innovation, and together think holistically about how that can enhance our total offering to clients. Having the Ebco team join us is a big leap forward in providing a complete strategic and insights-led innovation solution.

A combined Dig Insights and Ebco offering provides clients with a seamless solution for the entire innovation lifecycle; from discovering innovation territories, to testing and validating ideas, to building a cohesive strategy, and ultimately driving action. Dig Insights can act as a true partner across an entire innovation program.

On why this partnership made sense, Mays states:

We wanted to partner with a company that had deep expertise in developing insights and innovation technology to incorporate into our approach as a trends and innovation consultancy. It quickly became apparent that the brainpower and tech exists within Dig already, and bringing our respective offerings together is going to be powerful.

Mays continues:

I really don’t think anything this integrated exists yet. In traditional innovation programs research, tech and strategic partners are often separate. Tools become one-offs, and strategic innovation partners double-down on creative and concepting without insights to back up their frameworks and ideas. This end-to-end, insights-led approach to innovation will be the go-to solution to solve for the increasingly fragmented innovation process.

Gaudette along with the Dig Insights leadership team are thrilled with this next step into the company’s future. Gaudette notes:

Dig is a company that has nailed how to leverage technology to scale research and deliver insights in a more agile way. Now, we’re thinking about how we can accelerate the innovation process – how can we help clients keep up with the pace of change? Leveraging our expertise in tech-enabled insights and marrying it with Ebco’s expertise in trends and innovation is why this just makes sense.
