Leadership Transition at Dig Insights

Leadership Transition at Dig Insights

We are pleased to announce a significant leadership transition at Dig Insights. Three of our four founders—Dominic Atkinson, Michael Edwards, and Ian Ash—will be stepping back from their day-to-day roles within the business. They will remain as owners and continue to consult with the broader team. This transition not only honors their remarkable contributions over the past 15 years but also sets the stage for our future growth.

This change is a strategic decision aimed at fostering sustained long-term growth for Dig. The founders believe that now is the right time to step back, confident that our talented team is ready to take the company to new heights. As Ian Ash expressed,

“Being a part of Dig’s founding and evolution has been one of the proudest accomplishments of my life. The new leadership team is ready to continue driving the most innovative and robust solutions in the insights industry.”

Paul Gaudette, our CEO and Co-Founder, shared his thoughts on this transition:

“After building and growing Dig together for 15 years, the time has come for Dominic, Michael, and Ian to step back from the day-to-day. This moment has been part of the plan for a while, but that doesn’t make it any easier. These three aren’t just my business partners—they’re my brothers. Together, we’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of. While they’ll always be the founders of Dig, they are stepping back with confidence knowing they’ve built a team that’s ready to carry their legacy forward and continue pushing the boundaries of what this company can do.”

In response to these changes, we are promoting from within. Marcie Connan, who has been with us for 12 years as an Executive Vice President, will now lead research excellence for the organization. Kevin Hare, also an Executive Vice President and with us for 9 years, will focus on client growth and the global adoption of our technology platform, Upsiide.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that four of our consulting Vice Presidents—Kathleen Coll, Razvan Rosu, Lesley Sloggett, and Julien Naggar—are being promoted to Senior Vice President. Each will lead their own consulting teams to drive best-in-class research outcomes for our clients. This transition is a crucial step in expanding our reach with existing clients and attracting new ones.

Michael Edwards reflected on the evolution of Dig, stating,

“We founded Dig because we recognized an opportunity to fuse primary research with technology and data analytics to reinvent how companies innovate. Since then, Dig has evolved in incredible ways. Part of that evolution is recognizing when it’s time for the next generation of leaders to step up. I’m incredibly proud of the Dig team and what we’ve achieved. I’m excited about what’s coming down the pipeline and am fully confident that we have the right team to continue Dig’s incredible growth.”

Dominic Atkinson also shared his sentiments:

“The last 15 years has been such a remarkable and gratifying experience. I feel fortunate to have worked with such an innovative, collaborative, and fun team. Thanks to all our clients who have partnered with Dig, trusting us to help guide their business. I step aside with complete confidence that Dig, under the leadership of Paul and our executive team, will continue to innovate and evolve.”

As we move forward, we are optimistic about the future of Dig Insights. With our dedicated team in place, we are committed to delivering exceptional value to our clients and achieving sustainable growth. Thank you for being part of our journey, and we look forward to what lies ahead.
